Concept & Story
The warm glow of LA and the cool ocean breeze. La Ola is a sustainable tequila brand inspired by the rhythmic energy of the California coast. It reframes eco-conscious living not as a dull obligation, but as a vibrant, stylish lifestyle for a new generation. The brand celebrates the intersection of social connection and environmental awareness, proving that sustainability can be as refreshing as the waves that inspire it.
Visual Identity
The graphic language is directly derived from the natural ebb and flow of the ocean. The logo and typography feature fluid, undulating forms that capture the dynamic movement of water. This "wavy" motif serves as the core graphic element, applied flexibly across packaging, stickers, and digital interfaces to symbolize a free-spirited lifestyle. The color palette draws from the unique scenic gradients of Los Angeles—blending the deep blues of the Pacific with the warm, saturated hues of a coastal sunset.
Sustainable System
The packaging design embodies the brand's circular philosophy. Each bottle label is crafted from recycled agave fibers—the very plant that yields the tequila. A return-reward system encourages users to bring back empty bottles in exchange for collectible La Ola stickers, turning an act of recycling into a shared community ritual. Through this interplay of organic visuals and tangible action, La Ola embodies the optimistic and expressive spirit of LA’s youth culture.
